  1. The Portal's record for a 1923 photograph lists the buildings across from Main Street: a lumber yard, blacksmith shop, grocery, Masonic Lodge, Elkin's Cafe, and the Gammill general store. More

  2. The Singleton family farmed here on Avondale-Haslet Road from 1912. Their 1916 tractor was believed to be the first in northern Tarrant County. The land is now Willow Springs Ranch, where Singleton Drive honors the family. More

  3. 101 Main Street. The Town of Haslet became the City of Haslet on January 16, 1961. More
